"Every little girl dreams about her wedding day. However, no little girl ever realizes how many decisions there are to make until they’re actually planning their own wedding. Choosing Aimage to be part of my special day was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Aimage took my engagement, bridal, and wedding day pictures, and they are all amazing!
I was never one of those brides who had every little detail of her wedding day planned out. I remember going to our first meeting with Lisa Shepard and thinking "How am I ever going to decide what we should wear, where we should take the pictures, how we should pose, etc." Lisa was fantastic! She had a list of locations and tons of great ideas for poses.
The first thing my husband and I did with Lisa was our engagement pictures. We took our pictures at Town Lake in Austin. I remember my husband saying "Are you sure that this is a good place to take pictures?" I was pretty skeptical too, but once we got started we felt so comfortable and were having so much fun. One thing we really loved about working with Aimage was how quickly we got our pictures; it only took a week to get both our engagement and wedding pictures. We were blown away! We were thinking that there would be about a handful that we liked, but it turned out that we loved pretty much all of them. It was great to have so many choices and so much variety in the settings and poses.
My next experience with Lisa was my bridal portraits. She recommended this castle in Austin, and as soon as I looked it up on the internet, I fell in love. It was such a beautiful location, and Lisa really knew how to use the space. My favorite part of my bridal portraits was the uniqueness of all my poses. Lisa has an amazing ability to place her subjects so perfectly in their settings. When my mother and I went to pick out which pictures to get there were so many to choose from. Pretty much every picture was beautiful!
Although I was extremely happy with our engagement pictures and my bridal portraits, I would have to say our wedding day pictures were the best of all. Lisa spent seven hours with us on the day of our wedding taking pictures of anything and everything. We ended up with almost 2000 pictures from our wedding day. My favorite part of the wedding pictures was that she captured every moment, and she took pictures of every single person there. I am so happy that we used Aimage for our wedding. Lisa captured so many memories that my family and I will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Let me start out by saying that my husband and I were on a pretty tight budget for our wedding, so it was a huge relief to run into Lisa Shepard at a bridal fair in Austin. We are not from the Austin area but had been looking up pricing for photographers, and we were very nervous about finding someone who was not only in our price range, but also who we could trust to take great photos. From the minute we met Lisa she was very straightforward with us and started out by asking exactly what our budget was. Although she cringed when we told her (which was understandable considering what other people were charging) she told us that she would be willing to work with us for that price, especially since our wedding was on a Friday. We were ecstatic! We scheduled an appointment with Lisa that night and met with her and her husband Don at their cute little office where we looked through tons and tons of gorgeous photographs. We were instantly sold! From that point forward everything was smooth sailing.
The two of them were there on time the day of the wedding, and did a wonderful job capturing every minute of our very fast-paced wedding. One of the hardest things that Lisa and Don had to do was to wrangle in our family and friends who were running around all over the place, but they somehow managed to do so without seeming a bit frustrated! Our photos arrived to us within a couple of days of returning home from the honeymoon, and we couldn’t have been happier with the results! We had so much fun going through the photos and really appreciated that not only did we get a variety of very beautiful and professional photos from Lisa's camera, but also some amazing candid photos from Don's camera. We have received so many compliments on our wedding pictures, which only reinforces our beliefs that we went with the right photographer. We know so many couples who were not 100% pleased with their wedding photos, so we feel very lucky to have found Aimage. If we could do it all again we wouldn’t change a thing!
